The board has excellent low thermal conductivity, high thermal shock resistance heat, and chemical and mechanical stability. FRACTALINS™, made from the HMG1 material are available in various sizes and shapes for a variety of applications. TYPICAL USAGE of FRACTALINS™: FRACTALINS™ are an excellent material to use as insulation boards in furnace lining and kiln furniture. They have a higher service life compared to any fiber insulating board, due to superior mechanical, and chemical stability at high temperatures. Other applications include hot plates, gas combustion burners, fire protection and stops. Due to the high porosity, high strength, and high melting point FRACTALINS™ may find other uses. Typical applications are molten metal filtration, oil trapping and recovery, grease filters, hot-gas and steam cleaning filters, chemical and water purification processes.
